Re: Modified Frontal Appearance B.3. and B.50. ----------------- We have already sent to you the radiator for B.3. and B.50 to be fitted to 2.B.5. and 1.B.50. On PD.180 and PD.184 ( 2 sheets) we shew respectively the front end of the frame, and the front wings and apron treatment. On PD.184 it will be noted that we have had to modify the forging carrying the starting handle bearing to suit the lower radiator base and apron. On PD.180 we have reverted to the longer support bracket for the front bumper FB.3161 and these new parts should be fitted to 1.B.50 before the revised wings are mounted. The front Bumper is that already instructed FB.3628 and we understand that Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Les.{Ivan A. Leslie} has ordered sufficient for these cars. One has already been produced for 1.B.50 to suit its obsolete frame. Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} | ||
