1080 6th December, 1940. 704 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/RG.{Mr Rowledge}A/ST.{Capt. P. R. Strong} Messrs. Twining Models, Pike Lane, NORTHAMPTON. For the attention of Mr. E.H. Clifton. Dear Sir, Re: Myth Model. We thank you for your letter of the 5th instant and are pleased to note that the carving of the body is now almost complete. With regard to your queries and sketches enclosed, they have better be dealt with as under:- a.{Mr Adams} The wing sections and radiator details are still incomplete. The one, of course, being related to the other. b. Window mouldings - the section is, we think, near enough for all practical purposes, but the other sketches need slight modifications. We have altered your sketch in red and return it herewith. Briefly the inside corners of the moulding should exactly correspond with the window opening on the door outside panel. The outside of the moulding frame is to be as indicated by red lines on your sketch. c. The windscreen frame, which is of course chromium plated, should stand slightly proud of the body panel. I am enclosing a sectional sketch to indicate what will take place on an actual car. Presumably you will produce a similar impression on the scale model. Mr. E.A. Green will be pleased to inspect the model as soon as it has reached a sufficiently advanced stage. You will of course advise when that will be. Yours faithfully, | ||
