Herewith we send N.sch.2472 shewing the revised rear brake gear for the above car on the lines of the EAC.7. brakes.
So far as possible we wish to use the EAC.7. pieces but have found it necessary to modify the arrangement and the parts in one or two places, most of these modifications being also applicable to EAC.7.
It will be noticed that the run of the hand brake cables has been altered, giving more clearance for the silencer and battery in the frame. We shall send you particulars immediately.
