To BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} from EFC. c. to EY/HBO. c. to Mr. Coverley. X 2572 EFC2/T16.3.19. X.3129 - BATTERY IGNITION - CONDENSERS X2572 In answer to your EY15/F15.3.19., we have now received from Mr. Coverley two condensers as instructed by Mr. Ormerod's note EY/HBO2/DW18.3.19., these being the first and last on the list, which we are designating A and E; the intermediate ones being B, C, D in order. Although these condensers are not, we understand, representative of the final production job, they are nevertheless electrically sound at the moment, and we have measured their capacities and find the A condenser to have .11 m.f. and the E condenser to have .19 m.f. The capacity that will be required for the standard condenser on the car should lie between the limits .19 m.f. and .23 m.f. and therefore, should certainly be one of the E type. We know from experience that a slight improvement in capacity may be obtained on the same size condenser, with increased experience in assembling. EFC. R&C Ltd (0-11-10) 7/18(S) 1,000 WTH | ||
