X.3923 X.3555 We find that the grips for holding the fuses in the R.R. Distribution Board are unsatisfactory. These are made of silicon bronze but we think the pieces are too short and stubby to allow for much springiness. We have actually had one of the fuse holders fall right out of the grips. We certainly think that the design of these should be improved. The other points we have noticed on this Distribution Board are:- 1. We consider that the Plug for the Inspection Lamp Holder should be in such a position that the cover can be taken on and off without removing the Inspection Lamp. 2. We also consider that the nuts which fix the cover on the Distribution Board should be more accessible. At present it is necessary to use a 2.BA box spanner as no other tool will undo the nuts. As the fuses are in the Distribution Board we think the cover might be fixed by means of wing nuts so that it is easily detachable.
