We do not want to risk running our only Peregrine engine for long periods at 5080 R.P.M. in order to determine the oil consumption until we have completed the tests on the blower for slow running and opening up. At present we can say that we have noticed no signs of over-oiling from the exhaust when the engine has been run at high speeds. If the oil consumption is really excessive one can generally get some indication when running with open ports. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
