CENTRALISED LUBRICATION.

With reference to our conversation about this on the 26th.inst. What we should like to know is :-

(a) What is the minimum number of chassis that must be passed to test from the present date to utilise the present stock of forgings.

(b) Is it possible immediately to alter all dies to incorporate the necessary bosses for centre-point lubrication. If not, what bosses would look out of place if fitted to the present chassis without centre point lubrication?

(c) If it is not possible to alter all dies at once, how soon can it be done and how many cars will be delivered to test in this case before bosses for centre point connections will be available on the car.

We anticipate that the car with the one-shot system on it will have completed its test in France by the middle of March and therefore wish to make provision as far as possible for the earliest possible incorporation of this modification, keeping stocks low and making forgings suitable for conversion.
