The bonnet and dash we think should be that now proposed for "W" Series, i.e. a radiator one inch higher than "V"Series with parallell sides and outside shutters, dashboard 2 1/4 ins. wider and 1 in higher, and a bonnet with shutters (not louvres) . We suggest that Goshawk bonnet fasteners be used and that the thin brass wearing strip inside the bonnet as on E.A.C.II. be fitted. The bonnet handles we would like to try are those shewn on "N"Sch.1453. for E.A.C.I. We also think that the stops preventing the damage to the paint of the top panels shewn on this drawing should be used. The bonnet rivets should have snap heads.

Mr Royce wishes this car to have the steering with a large diameter worm (.720 in. lead.) and the damped pendulum lever. We shall send you by the weekend a design of cover for this pendulum lever ( N.Sch. 2037.). When the chassis goes to the coachbuilders it will have the standard lever but the large cover so that you can fit the proper steering without damaging the paint.

We shall also send you by the weekend a design of Carb. & Shutter Control. somewhat similar to the first one done for E.A.C.II. ( N.Sch. 2035.) To accommodate the Framed Instruments we have had to move the control out to 7.500in. from the C/L of the car and this calls for the junction box being moved out. This we shall shew on N.Sch. 2036. The arrangement of the Inst. Board. - N.Sch.2027. will also be sent to you in a day or so.

The wheel carriers should be the single arm type with the stout parallell tube, as Mr Royce now prefers these. They can be fitted to the chassis and may go to the coachbuilders as such carriers have been seen by them before.

We believe that the above is the specification of the chassis
