We also shew a list of parts which it will be convenient to fit whilst the chassis is undergoing its test. We just remind you again that this chassis must be placed on test by Friday Feb. 22nd. PARTS WHICH WILL BE FITTED TO CHASSIS BEFORE TEST. 1. New crankshaft - improved oil retaining. 2. New main bearings without liners. 3. New cover to suit crankshaft. 4. Exhaust system Lec. 2638. 5. Water pump gland nut to Lec. 2644. 6. Throttle control lever Lec. 2653. 7. New rocker cover Lec. 2651. 8. Valve springs E.78071. 9. Throttle govemor controls. 10. Modified govemor housing. 11. Modified oiler for idler wheel. 12. Rubber engine mounting Lec. 2649/50. 13. Solid engine coupling. 14. Cross steering tube using 1¼" dia. ball ends. 15. Improved front spring anchorage suitable for larger shrouds to accommodate spring gaiters. 16. Propeller shaft using 6" Mechanics joints N.S.2547 - improved joints. 17.
