Hancock has examined the big ends on 21-G-IV after 10,000 miles running, and reports that they are in better condition than any other bearings of ours which he has ever seen after similar mileage. No special filter has been fitted to the system, the only other modification from standard being the larger oil pump. In view of this result, and of the trouble which Sr. anticipates with hard driving Bentley owners on the Continent, we should like to discuss the standardisation of this modification on Thursday next.
