H.E.West, Esq., Messrs.Rolls-Royce, Ltd. 2 amps and remains at that point until the starter is again used; 1½ to 2 amps steady charge is not sufficient to gas the battery, but keeps it in splendid condition. Lamp bulbs also have a longer life and there is appreciably less blackening of side lamp bulbs, than is the case with other private cars which I have under my control and which use ordinary type of dynamo.
