(3) I understand this set of gears has not been run in with turkey powder. 5. Cotton Belting Clutch. This clutch seemed to be quite satisfactory although I noticed it was possible to make it squark by letting it in suddenly. 6. 18/52 Deep Tooth Axle. Although this axle is good it was at most times possible to hear it, probably owing to the lack of body or other noises I believe this body accentuates axle noises. I would call the axle "good" but not quite "very good". I was not able to observe this axle with the dividing window down, because this was screwed up so tightly that we could not move it. 7. Spring Centres 1" wider. The general springing on this car is quite the best I have experienced. Although we ran on some very bad roads, the car was always comfortable. There was practically no tendency to roll and I would say, generally speaking, the springing was excellent. | ||
