Dear Mr.Robotham: Mr.Alexander Duckham has asked me to thank you for your letter of November 18th. His health has, as perhaps you know, been giving him a certain amount of trouble, and he is unable to deal with correspondence as fully as he would wish. I understand that he intends to send his 4¼-litre Bentley to the depot for overhaul about the end of this year, and with the kind assistance of your staff there we are to make an intermediate examination before continuing to thirty thousand miles, as you suggest. Mr. Duckham uses the car entirely for private purposes, so the mileage will not be greatly increased by the end of the year, but we will let you know the result of the examination; indeed, I presume your people will report it as a matter of course. Meanwhile, might I ask how you are getting on with the trial of ADCOIDS in Paris? Yours sincerely, S.E. Bowrey. | ||
