Dear Mr. Duckham,

Thank you for your letter of November 16th.

It is very kind of you to offer to let us have a look at your 4 1/4-litre Bentley which has been running on Adcoids, but we think this inspection might, with advantage, be postponed until it has run 30,000 miles or so.

Generally speaking, with the 4 1/4-litre Bentley, the rate of wear is so low that it is difficult to get a reliable figure of merit at 12,000 miles.
