'EAC' - CONTROLS.

We have laid out the respective accelerator movements of the EAC. and 40/50. HP. As will be observed from the attached sketches, the movement of the former for full throttle is 75% greater than the latter.
A 3.5" movement is most uncomfortable from the average drivers point of view.
Experimentally, lever 'C' has been reduced to .75" long, this improves matters but makes the lever very short and working under a considerable load, as the exhaust butterfly closing spring throws an extra strain on all levers but those on the carburetter.
We suggest that altering the length of lever E.71688 from 1.5" to 2.1" would give a more reasonable movement for the E.A.C.
