Due to the use of aprons and bumpers, and of the general covering in of the front and back of the car we know you agree that our present jacking system is inadequate.

We therefore suggest that unless someone can find something better, you obtain and try a set of 'Jackall' 4 wheel jacks.
As no doubt you are aware these jacks are hydraulic and permanently attached to the front and rear axle, and are operated by a small hydraulic hand pump on the runningboard. Any individual wheel may be jacked up separately, or for brake adjustment all four may be jacked up at once.

These jacks are fitted as standard on Star cars, and we have fitted them to RR. cars for the Prince of Wales, Mertzenoff, and Lord Louis Mountbatten, in fact, we understand they made for us some special fittings for the axle in duralumin instead of steel so as to reduce the addition to the unsprung weight.
