For the attention of Mr. Dyer.

Dear Sirs,

In reply to your letter of the 3rd. inst. we enclose herewith detail drawings of the P.III crankcase and clutch case for dimensions in respect of mounting the unit.

The dimensions required for the mounting layout have been marked up in red pencil.

The unit supplied is not fitted with flexible supports as these are complicated and become part of the chassis. Our recommendation is that it be housed in a straight forward manner and sitting on slabs of hard rubber at the three support positions, two in front and one at rear mounting under the clutch case.

In detail the two front support feet marked 'A' on E.84917 are studded (ɔ) and can bolt on to channels with the intermediate hard rubber layer between. The 1" hole marked in the centre of each foot is for spigoting and not realy necessary. The centre of each foot is 9.550" from the crank C L and .875 below the crank C L. From the centre of the front feet to the mounting face on L the clutch case (G.83739) is 36.075".

The arc of support studs on the clutch case is radially 5.3125 below the centre line of the crank.
