MIDDLESEX.

For the attention of J.S.H. Moore Esq.

Dear Sirs,

re Turbo Transmitter for Bentley.

Mr. Robotham has asked us to write to you regarding the Turbo Transmitter as shewn on your drawing 34/GA10 which was enclosed with your letter of Sept. 19th. 1940.

It is true that the state of hostilities has not allowed us to give full attention to the installation of this transmission in the Bentley Chassis, but we did do some exploratory work.

We would have gone on, most probably, had the drawing No.34/GA10 been able to furnish us with more detailed information. The following points need to be cleared up.

a.{Mr Adams} A drawing is needed shewing the attachment to the engine, crankshaft. Since our crankshaft flange is 2 1/4" dia. with bolt centre 1.850 in. dia. do we need to design an adaptor piece or can the main unit be modified? If the former be the case, we need particulars of the bolt circle, and dimensions of the spigot.

b. In order to design a bell housing, we need to have a drawing shewing where this is attached to the transmitter, or gearbox, and particulars of the attachment face
