Isolated Change Speed Lever - Bentley.
---------------------------------

We consider that this is one of the biggest improvements which have been made to the car since the introduction of the Bentley. It has been fitted to several experimental cars and has now completed 6,000 miles on 5-B-IV in France without giving any trouble.

We have started a Standardisation Sheet, but this is at present with Sft.{Mr Swift} for costs.

So far all the parts have been made to Experimental drawings, but final drawings will be completed by the end of the week.

At the present moment 200 more sets of material are being ordered for 'F' series. Can we not order up material for this improvement on the strength of the tests already completed, since the 15,000 miles will certainly have been completed before the first week in June, when the material comes into theseworks.
