The British Tyre & Rubber Co.Ltd.,
Leyland,
Lancs.

For the attention of Mr. Evans.

Dear Sirs,

We have to-day despatched 2 rubbers C.83187 to France for test purposes, and 2 similar rubbers to Leyland, marked for your attention.

I should be very grateful if you would test these rubbers to destruction, and let me have a report.

The steel inserts can then be returned to Burton for new rubbers. Burton do not know I am sending you these samples.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
