| 2322 Exptl. Dept. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Les.31/KW. 5th November, 1935. The British Tyre & Rubber Co.Ltd., Leyland, Lancs. Dear Sirs, We are sending you a duplicate print of G.83186 and will 'phone you to-morrow (Wednesday) morning to arrange the best method to start the 4 rubbers G.83187 in circulation. So far we can see no progress in connection with this item since the 21st of last month. We have suggested to you previously that all our work should be done at Burton. We should now like to know if you are ready to make this change. Recently we have had several cases where the rubber has become loose from the metal. This, in conjunction with the inconvenience of your distance, has forced us to seriously consider other manufacturers for our rubber parts. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
