contd :- -3- has serious difficulty in obtaining his maximum braking power by pedal pressure. The addition of a servo to the system gives such an adequate reserve of power that this factor is enormously reduced in importance. It will, therefore, be appreciated that while superficially we are handicapped by the number of points requiring attention in the system, we gain considerably by the extended intervals at which lubrication must be affected. The preliminary instructions which you have had submitted in connection with 4-wheel brakes have not yet been criticised by us. We think that the periods of lubrication can be reduced very considerably. 1804 MADE AT CROXLEY Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
