10112. WST To Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst. from ROY.{Sir Henry Royce} " E/Lid{A. J. Lidsey} " ROY{Sir Henry Royce}3/MG9.9.35 Electric Petrol Gauge Mr. Nichols, of Messrs. S.Smith & Sons, still maintains that their suggested figure of:- £3.12. 6d is justified for the modified Electric Petrol Gauge, i.e., to give warning when the tank is carrying petrol below a certain quantity. You will recollect our present Petrol Gauge is: £1.15. 0d Personally I cannot understand. Would you please set out in detail the actual parts required for such device, so that we can take up the matter again with Mr. Nichols. I know either he, or one of his assistants, discussed the matter with, and also wrote to Mr. West direct on the subject a few days ago. ROY{Sir Henry Royce} | ||
