Speed work. 54 m.p.h. lap - Lodge plugs - pre-ignition.
58.8 m.p.h. average lap - K.L.G. Sparking Plugs.
61 m.p.h. fastest lap - Magneto Ignition.
60 m.p.h. fastest lap - Battery Ignition.
(speedometer reads 1.3 m.p.h. slow at 58 m.p.h.)
67 m.p.h. fastest speed - by speedometer.
Fan on or off appears to have little or no effect on max. speed.
Petrol consumption at max. speed 15 m.p.g.

Hill climb - a) Standing start bottom of test hill in 1st. speed, 20 m.p.h. at top - speed falls off 1 m.p.h. on the 1 in 4 portion.
b) 25 m.p.h. at bottom second speed, 20 m.p.h. at the top.
c) Standing starts.
1 in 3 - easily.
1 in 5 - just.
1 in 4 - failed.
