6092. EXPERIMENTAL DEPARTMENT. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/RC.{R. Childs}7/JH. 15th. December, 1938. Messrs. Joseph Lucas Ltd., Great King Street, BIRMINGHAM. For the attention of Mr. Toulmin. Dear Sirs, Further to our telephone conversation with your Mr. C.E.Robinson yesterday afternoon, Mr. Robinson stated that he was prepared to visit us if necessary in order to clear up the outstanding points in connections with the Lucas RR1 type regulator. We think such a visit would help considerably, and suggest Monday December 19th. for the purpose. Perhaps you will kindly advise us exactly when it will be convenient for Mr. Robinson to come and of anything that he would like us to prepare for him. We propose amongst other things to demonstrate to him the unit No.1740, which was specially adjusted for us, and also one which in the meantime we will try and adjust ourselves. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. | ||
