J.{Mr Johnson W.M.} Lucas Ltd., -2- Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/RC.{R. Childs}14/JH.9.12.38. We could, of course, have discovered the advent of the 6/1 ratio ourselves by partly dismantling and measuring the resistances of all units as received, but such action would be synonymous with a complete lack of faith in the Staff of Messrs. J.{Mr Johnson W.M.} Lucas. We would like to make it clear, that we cannot be held responsible for delays or unfavourable verdicts, which may results from insufficient information having been supplied by the Maker. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. | ||
