RE PINNED VALVE TAPPETS.
40/50 H.P. CHASSIS.

We send you herewith drawing No. LeC.1160, shewing the above, in consequence of slight noise due to the tappets, and the fine clearance that is necessary, Mr. Royce thinks it is advisable to go back to pinned tappets. He remarks that we cancelled pinning for the sake of simplicity.

Would you please arrange to fit these to chassis 1EX. before it is returned to West WitteringHenry Royce's home town.
