SHOCK DAMPERS.
------------

P.74807.is now approved, and about to be standardized, the only modification from existing scheme being to use .375 bolts in small lever secured by square to operating spindle, and use spherical seats. An alteration embodying these features will be sent through.

We must concentrate on tools and equipment for these, as we shall require four of these for 20 HP. and at least one pair for the 40/50 HP. This will represent a good manufacturing proposal and will justify good equipment which will be wanted in the immediate future.

I am asking BJ. to approve an immediate start on 200 pairs.

The urgency of this is of the same order as the 40/50 new front axle equipment which must take preference of all other work.
