COPY OF LETTER FROM G.B.HEYWOOD CARADOC COURT ROSS HEREFORDSHIRE Sept. 5 - 24. Messrs. Benton & Stone Ltd. Dear Sirs, I am obliged for your letter of Sept 4th. May I point out that the end of the hook which is 3/32" through is not drilled, but is only for opening the coils of the spring? Some dodge for lubricating the valve stems of the 40-50 Rolls is badly wanted; only last week I suffered from a valve sticking when the cooling water rose to 90°C. with the result that the Bonnet was almost blown off by the Carburetter explosions. Yours truly, G.B.Heywood. | ||
