Replying to BY/CGH{W Clough}4/G281132., we agree that in some ways the frame side member shewn on the above N.scheme is not to scale. We do not think however that it will be necessary to taper the bottom flange of the cross member in the way you suggest, and we have accordingly made N.sch. 3613., shewing how we sugest the modifications might be carried out.
