This is not a completed scheme but shews on what lines the job is progressing.

There may be about 300 crankcases of the present type to convert to diamond mounting.

we have shewn the side members of the suspension bolted to the present crankchamber arms and are hoping to improve on the method of attachment.

To remove wheelcase and slipper flywheel it is necessary to take away the crossbeam and pivot after first taking the weight of the engine on the jacking screws provided.

It is not necessary to remove the crossmember.

The power unit can be dropped out of the frame moving it back toward the dash about 1" for which there is sufficient room both at the dash and the tail of the gearbox.

On the experimental mounting we made for 24-EX. the wheelcase is not accessible, being itself used as a means of carrying the engine.
