OIL FILLER FOR CRANKCASE. X.7000. X.5000.

We agree with your remarks about the oil filler.

The present dia. of our oil fillers is based on the idea that a funnel will be used.

As a rule the funnel is found to be either missing or in a dirty state when filling up away from home, and it would therefore be better to make the orifice large enough and sufficiently accessible to pour direct from the can.

We will put something forward on these lines for Japan 3. and also for P.2. when time permits.
