The Committee agreed that the proposal was possible, and that Mr. Bailey should go into the matter.

Mr. Barrington submitted a drawing showing a pneumatic tyre protected by asbestos blocks and tread.

The Committee considered this invention and were of the opinion that it was of no value to the Company.

Mr. Nadin had previously informed the Committee that he had obtained a gauge from Messrs. Schaffer & Budenburgh, and that he was obtaining a special connection with Messrs. Lucas.

Mr. Nadin informed the Committee that he hoped to put this on order immediately.
