Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}15/F26.4.20. X3461a/RE. FRONT SHOCK ABSORBER - BALL ENDS COMING LOOSE. With reference to my recent complaint on the above, I have now received the first case of a ball end coming loose on a delivered chassis, the ball end referred to having been fitted to the front axle as per the latest instructions. Unfortunately I have not been able to get hold of the actual faulty piece, but I bring this to your attention as possibly you are still doubtfull whether we should recommend the present fixing as generally satisfactory.
