To Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}

Eg.1/E.27.12.34.

12-Cylinder Packard.

Thanks for Wor{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}6/R.18.12.34. We have made further enquiries from the person who gave us the information and we find that the cars in question are in the possession of -

J.E. Murphy Esq.,
Executive Research Office,
203, Seymour Street, N.W.1.

Mr. Duveen (one of our customers who gave us the information) tells us that he is buying one of these cars and will be bringing it back with him about the end of January or early February, and I rather think that it would be preferable to wait until we could get hold of his car, which he will gladly lend us, rather than trouble Mr. Murphy whom we do not even know. If, however, E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} or Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} feels that we do not want to wait that length of time, please let me know.

Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}
