Re. Chassis No. 23-EU - Major Burnham

This owner sent his car to us recently for test for irregular running.

After the usual matter had been checked it was found that the misfiring and hesitation caused by the action of the autovac was particularly noticeable on this car. Although it was verified that the restriction valve was working freely the hesitation was still extremely noticeable and unpleasant and in view of our conversation recently, when I promised to advise you of any case that was particularly bad in this respect so that you could obtain the autovac for experimental purposes, I have informed Major Burnham that he will shortly receive a new autovac from W. and have asked him to forward that removed, to you.

Would you very kindly give such instructions as may be necessary to the shipping department.
