X8940 To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from BJ. BJ12/H3U.1.25. SECRET. TESTS WITH E.A.C. CARS IN FRANCE. HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}4/LG 28-1-25 We think it would be safer to have the cars which are being sent to France made the property of C.J., LHS.{Lord Herbert Scott} and B.J. In case of serious accident or enquiry, if the matter came before the French Government it would not look feasible in the witness box for three drivers to be the rightful owners of three Rolls-Royce cars. On the other hand, if these cars are made the private property of Directors, they could be passed through the books, and if necessary, paid for by the Directors. B.J. | ||
