ENGINE MOUNTING.

(1) Free from undue vibration idling.
(2) Does not affect clutch operation.
(3) Permits of satisfactory exhaust mounting.
(4) Does not cause gear lever movement.
(5) Unaffected by prop. shaft running out of truth and by pumping of prop. shaft.
(6) 100 hours on the bump chassis.
(7) Provision made for adequate flexibility of water, oil and instrument connections, and for controls to be unaffected by engine movement, particularly idling.
(8) If unit construction, links to control unit against brake operation, etc.
(9) Floorboard clearance.

100 hours bump test.
5,000 miles English conditions and London traffic.
10,000 miles Continental rough roads.
