[STAMP: THE SOCIETY OF MOTOR MANUFACTURERS & TRADERS] [STICKER: FBI BUY BRITISH MADE AND HELP BRITISH TRADE. ISSUED BY THE FEDERATION OF BRITISH INDUSTRIES.] Dec. 12/31. Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd., DERBY. Dear Sirs, ATTENTION OF MR. ROBOTHAM. With reference to your telephone conversation this morning, we regret to state that it will be impossible to despatch the pair of carburettors as called for on Monday, as this size is not in great demand and we do not carry any stock of finished parts. We have, however, commenced them this morning and shall be able to complete by Tuesday night. Unfortunately as you specify black enamelling and chromium plating of the small parts we do not think we shall be able to despatch the set before Friday, but we will do everything possible to hasten it through. Assuring you of our best attention at all times, we are Yours faithfully, For THE S.U.CO. JHarris. [STAMP: RECEIVED DEC 14 1931] [LOGO: ENGINEERING AND ALLIED EMPLOYERS' NATIONAL FEDERATION 1896] | ||
