4. ROVER.

A Rover saloon patrol car used by the Southend Borough Police had a perpetual intermittent miss and would not exceed 64½ m.p.h. at any time. On fitting a set of 'NER-MIS' adaptors which cured the miss they found the speed of the car was increased to 73 m.p.h., an increase of 8½ m.p.h.

5. RILEY.

A Riley saloon owned by the above police and used for patrol work was giving trouble owing to oily plugs and for the whole of the 8 hour patrol and could not exceed more than 30 m.p.h.. On return from patrol the plugs were tested and one was found to be not sparking, the others very weak. Without removing plugs they fitted a set of 'NER-MIS' and again proceeded on an 8 hour patrol. They cleared the plugs in a very short time and completed the patrol without further trouble and at normal speed.

6. LEYLAND.

A Leyland lorry which usually took the driver 1½ hours to start was started in 2 minutes on fixing a set of 'NER-MIS' adaptors..

7. CHEVROLET.

A Chevrolet 6 cylinder car suffering from oily plugs had to change same every 100 miles (average weekly mileage 380). On being fitted with 'NER-MIS' adaptors has completed 8,732 miles to date without removing plugs.
