Coverley - Production Engineer} from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}11/KT.7.12.33. PHANTOM LARGE BORE UNIT FOR THE VULTURE. We have allotted No.7 unit for this car. This is a large bore engine which we believe is almost entirely up to date. Will you please examine the pistons and make sure that they have stainless steel tops, and also remove the experimental camshaft which is at present fitted, and replace by a standard camshaft. We will let you have the aluminium head, which we are at present testing on the bed, as soon as we have obtained the figures [REDACTED] we require.
