-2- (2) Bottom bolts of hydraulic dampers loose. (3) Top bolts were not 100% tight. -------------------------------- Front brakes tramping when applied at over 70 m.p.h. We cured this after the following features had been attended to - (1) Hydraulic dampers - uneven loads, N.S. 80 lbs., O.S. 100 lbs. (2) Front tyres - 24 lbs., 28 lbs., made 35 lbs. (3) Swinging arm load on servo increased from 5 lbs. to 11 lbs. -------------------------------- HYDRAULIC DAMPERS. Upon examination of the damper it was found that the definite leak provided by the washer is not consistent, owing to the machining of the valve seating not being consistent. There was .008 difference in the depth from the face to the valve seating on one pair of dampers. BENTLEY BONNET FASTENERS. The rivet in the handle works loose and has sheared on a set of bonnet fasteners. | ||
