contd :- -2- If however you think that No.1. plugs giving 15 to 18 drops per shot are not going to be too much, will you please fit them. With regard to the excess lubrication of the steering arm, we are at a loss to understand why there should be so great a flow. The pendulum lever is supposed to receive 15 to 18 drops per shot. If this is not the case will you kindly do what you think is right and let us know. How do you stand in respect of your stock of spare drip plugs? It looks as though you may require another set sending out. If there is anything else you require such as washers, spare pipes etc. will you please inform us? We note you have again had trouble with a soldered joint breaking. In a number of experiments on these joints, a 50 lead and 50 tin percentage showed a distinct improvement over the standard 40 lead, 60 tin, but was more difficult to work with. We have therefore instructed that a 50/50 solder be used on future chassis. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/F.Gaye. | ||
