Y60026 HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst. &/JH. 27th April, 1936. Messrs. Lodge Plugs Ltd., Rugby. Dear Sirs, Lodge X523 Sparking Plugs. We have now tested the above sparking plugs and find them to be an improvement from the Lodge RL.14 plugs when used on the 25/30 HP. chassis. We now propose trying out these plugs on the Ph.III chassis, and as we have a car going on the Continent at the end of this week, we are wondering if you would be able to supply us by that time with 36 type X523 plugs. We also propose placing an order with you for another 36 of these plugs making 6 doz in all. Will you please advise us whether you can do this. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. | ||
