25/30 HP. Sparking Plugs.

A new type of plug, Lodge X.523, was tested on 21-G-IV and a production chassis. They proved to be an improvement on Lodge RL.14, and run evenly at 6 M.P.H.

They have been recommended to F.{Mr Friese} Dodd for use on the Phantom III 32-EX.

Alterations are suggested for the 25/30 HP. as follows :-

(1) Increase length of barrel to 21 m/m.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore}
(2) Undercut the first two threads to avoid accumulation of carbon and exposure to combustion.
