TO ~~BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer}~~ FROM DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} ORIGINAL DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}2/EV{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}8.7.27. C. to - ~~BS.{A J. Barnes - Assistant Manager}~~ HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} re. EAC. 10. & 12. X2066 X7770 We send herewith N. scheme 2428. shewing a layout of the proposed EAC. 10. EAC.12. will be exactly similar, but will have hypoid axle gears of 1.000 eccentricity. Keeping the same transmission angle the aligned position of the transmission on EAC. 12. will occur when the axle is .500 before full load position. We would be glad if you would issue the usual prints, with an extra print to this office, and then arrange to have the original traced immediately on linen by someone who will be able to correctly reproduce the detail. The original should be finally returned to this office. DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
