| To R.{Sir Henry Royce} from BJ. BJ5/H2.10.22. P. & R.{Sir Henry Royce} Battery B.D.11 for 40/50 Chassis. The following is a copy of a memorandum received from EFC. "X.3398. P. & R.{Sir Henry Royce} BD{Mr Berend}11 Battery. Owing to the fact that it will very shortly be necessary to order up batteries for K Series 40/50 chassis, we are anxious that the standardisation sheet for the above battery, which is at present in your possession, having been sent under cover of our EFC3/T14.7.22, should be returned duly signed if possible, at the earliest possible moment. We understand that PN.{Mr Northey} has again placed this matter before H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} so possibly by now his final decision in the matter is available." You will remember that I wrote to you in BJ9/H21.9.22, on this matter, and you will doubtless instruct the Works when you have arrived at a conclusion on this matter. B.J. | ||
