X4255 To EFC. {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} from Rs. {Sir Henry Royce's Secretary} Rel/G11/4/21. X.4288 - EXIDE 6 BXE 5 BATTERY WITH INDEPENDENTLY SUPPORTED POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE ELEMENTS. I return herewith standardisation sheet for the above, upon which Mr. Royce has made the following remarks:- "Agreed - Most desirable and urgent improvement. Fear all the cells with present separators and supports will soon become hopelessly leaky, i.e. internally losing the charge. I think this may be the chief reason that dynamos do not give output enough." Rs. {Sir Henry Royce's Secretary} RECEIVED 13 APR 1921 | ||
