YNG 81282 ROY.{Sir Henry Royce} c.Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} BY/EM3/J.15.11.33. Aero Engine Fuel to Specifications D.T.D.224 & 230. ------------------------------------------------- Arising out of recent difficulties in connection with the supply of fuels to the above specifications for aircraft use, we would draw your attention to the fact that it is essential that we should quote on every order the purpose for which the fuel is required i.e. for engine type test, production testing or development running as the case might be. The reason for this is that special precautions are called for in connection with type test fuel which are not of necessity required for other purposes. Will the Order Office kindly see that this instruction is carried out on all future orders and will the departments concerned kindly see that their requisitions clearly state for what purpose the fuel is required.
