In quite a number of cases, however, type tests are run on standard fuel, which is now D.T.D.224, and we shall be using this fuel for type tests and production tests concurrently. In view of this it would appear that all standard D.T.D.224 fuel should be within the range of + 1 of the octane value, which is specified for type tests. EP{G.
